Peter Stas, co-founder of the Group has always been intrigued by how it was possible to add smart features to simple quartz watches. He saw an opportunity to develop exciting connected watches with extensive information and graphics displayed on smartphones since 2010 and eventually launched the first Frederique Constant Horological smartwatch in 2015 becoming one of the bestselling watches within the collection. Innovation being one of the Group’s core values it was logical that a significant part of the R&D budget has been invested in the connected watch technology since then.
These two new Horological Smartwatch additions are made for men who want more than to just be able to consult the time on their wrist with a quartz watch. It is meant for customers that look for exciting user’s experience such as dynamic coaching, sleep monitoring, Worldtimer function, activity tracking, get-active alerts, always-on time & date function giving plenty of information to aid self-improvement through features that can be individually adjusted.
Design is also the primary strength of Frederique Constant Horological Smartwatch. These new models boast a 42mm stainless steel case and convex sapphire crystal powered by the MMT-285 smart caliber with all the functions adjustable by the crown with a 2+ year battery life. The light grey or light blue dials are finished with delicate Sunray decorations and applied silver indexes with white luminous treatment. Hands are hand-polished with white luminous treatment making the watch look like a traditional luxury analog Swiss watch.
The watch features hours, minutes, date in the counter placed at 6 o’clock as well as an additional indicator showing you the percentage of achieved objective according to what the client has set on the dedicated Frederique Constant Smartwatch app available for both iOS and Android.
