5. 1959 Dom Perignon – $42,350

In 2008 two bottles of the first vintage Dom Pérignon Rosé were sold at an auction for $42 230 each. Although the bottle in the picture is from 2004, the 1959 vintage version looked very similar.

4. 1996 Dom Perignon Rose Gold Methuselah – $49,000

This 6-liter gold-plated bottle and there are only 35 in existence! The champagne itself it’s said to be strong, radiant and sharp.

3. 2011 Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spades) 15-Liter – $90,000

The opulent lifestyle of celebrities and champagne came together to create this 15-liter bottle, as Jay Z, the owner of the brand expands his business. Called by many the Ace of Spades due to its logo.

2. 2013 Armand de Brignac Rose 30-Liter Midas – $275,000

After creating the 15-liter bottle Jay Z had to come up with a colossal 30-liter version of the bottle. The bottle is the equivalent of 40 standard-size bottles.

The most expensive bottle of champagne costs no less than $1.8 million! And yes you read that right. It’s a blend of Grand Cru Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier and the bottle comes embellished with a real 19-carat diamond.
